MICROWEDDINGS: An Intimate Affair

Updated: May 5

NEW to the Paper Crane Calligraphy planning packages, we now offer MicroWedding Planning and Design Services!

What is a MicroWedding? Is it right for you? Read about it below!

What is a MicroWedding?

Brides.com defines it as: an intimate affair, typically with no more than 50 guests. They still feature time-honored traditions that make a wedding but on a much smaller scale.

Why we love them:

MicroWeddings are a great way to keep your loved ones close, your guest count down, and splurge on items you might not have otherwise been able to fit in the budget! We look for unique venues, custom details and, of course, how we can create and capture those priceless, heirloom moments for you!

We also feel a little less pressure with a MicroWedding on our couples. While we help our clients to do what's right for them, if there are 150 less people, who you aren't as close with, off the guest list then that's 150 people you don't have to worry about!

The focus is and always will be the couple in a wedding, as it is with a marriage.

Is it right for you?

While we can't tell you what's right, that's a personal decision, we can tell you that these are wonderful for people who get anxiety over large guest counts, who wants to focus on guest experience as much as they want to incorporate traditions into their day. It's also great for couples looking to stretch their budget.

What else to consider:

If you are choosing a MicroWedding because of the current pandemic, but you've always dreamed of a large wedding- consider doing an At-Home Elopement! We are happy to help you navigate this, but you can also DIY it with the help of She Rents Vintage. Then, celebrate using your original wedding vendor team, with a post-wedding reception OR an amazing one year anniversary bash!

How to inquire?
